MY IMAGINED EXPERIENCE

I wanted to explore landscape painting in a world I am used to. I went down a cyberpunk path, choosing a futuristic, Japanese cityscape as I wanted to visualise ‘beauty’ in the milieu of technological advancement.
To prod strong lines of the mushrooming edifices against the cacophony of bright neon lights thus demands a careful calculation in process. Indeed an imagined ‘beauty’- calibrated and personal.
