Women are becoming far more empowered than ever before, overcoming (albeit very slowly) body shaming and bullying and they are bucking society’s trend of what is deemed ‘beautiful and sexy’.
Women of all shapes and sizes are embracing their curves, flaws and scars in a new found confidence lead by the likes of musician Lizzo and the 2023 Australian of the year Taryn Brumfitt, and this is the new ‘beautiful and sexy’!
Be loud, be proud, flaunt those sexy curves and love the skin you are in!
This Is Me is named after the Keala Settle song of the same name with the lyrics:

Artist Statement: Kerry Sandhu Art: ‘Inspired Art from the Heart’
I’m Kerry Sandhu, a self-taught acrylic artist with a passion for bringing vibrant, heartfelt art to life. Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, I made a big move to Darwin in the Northern Territory in January 2020, which has added a new layer of inspiration to my work.
I find my inspiration in the world around me—nature, spirit, life, music, and lyrics all play a big role in shaping my creative process. Just like my diverse taste in music, my artistic style, techniques, and themes are eclectic and ever-evolving.
My ‘inspired art from the heart’ covers a wide range of themes, each piece encapsulating my raw uniqueness and spiritual energy. I love to create vibrant paintings that highlight the beauty found in the small details of life, each brushstroke a reflection of my inner world.
Painting and creating are my true passions, and I strive to share this love with others. Through my art, I aim to touch hearts, inspire minds, ignite passions, and evoke deep emotions.
