MELT
$150

A fairly literal portrayal of my state of being during the Darwin wet, this piece celebrates the pleasure and catharsis innate to all that splashing, smearing, dripping and dragging, pushing and pulling of art-making. The making of a self-portrait also parallels the challenges in any self-narrative: can we ever truly represent ourselves without blurring the edges, and isn’t our idea of self constantly shifting and remapping?
