My passion for drawing started at when I was quite young. I designed badges, murals, decorated kites, created posters and produce paintings in all mediums. This led me to become a graphic designer, I have always loved illustration and my current work really reflects how I have evolved as an artist.
I am lucky enough to live in a tropical climate, in Darwin, Northern Territory Australia. Here, I am surrounded by unique birds, animals and exotic nature.
I also love photography. I use many of my photos for inspiration for my art.
My friends and family encouraged me to share my work, so I created jenniwren.
I showcase a lot Northern Territory birds and flora sharing some of their characteristics.

Artist Statement: Hello, my name is Jennifer Sekulich, I go under the name jenniwren – a endearing name mother used to call me. I’m a digital artist based in Darwin. I also paint using acrylics or watercolour. After graduating with degree in graphic design, I worked in the advertising and marketing field for many years. I now work part time and as a freelance graphic designer. Ten years ago I started experimenting with watercolour and ink, drawing various birds and animals. I have developed my current digital style over the last few years and have been producing works that showcase Northern Territory birds and flora.
