Chamonix Higginson

MOTHER OF ALL
$2,200

“Mother of All” is a profound call for unity and a heartfelt quest for belonging.
Tracing our ancestry reveals that we are one people, united by roots in Southern Africa. This portrait invites viewers to reflect on humanity’s shared origins and deepen their understanding of our interconnectedness.

The artwork captures a sense of peaceful confidence despite the change in seasons and thundering storms. The kudu silhouette symbolises strength and grace, while the swimming fish evoke themes of surrender and flow. The golden line, a hallmark of Chamonix’s portraits, alludes to the unbreakable energy connecting us to the divine and the earth. The base of the portrait depicts the sacred geometry symbol of the seed of life, the starting point of all creation and the first step in Chamonix’s creative process.

Artist Statement: Chamonix Higginson is Vibrational Artist, Keynote Speaker and Mentor, Creator of the HeARTscaping methodology.

Born in Cape Town, Chamonix has enjoyed a nomadic life that started with her family sailing from Africa to England in a small wooden boat. Chamonix grew up in France and moved to Australia in 2009 to develop her career as an Interior Architect, passionate about creating spaces that enhance productivity and wellbeing, but always yearning to devote more time to her art.

In 2015, when Chamonix became a mother, she decided that it was time to start excavating the deep fears that surrounded her creative expression and slowly committed to bringing to life the many artworks that she could intuitively perceive as being her life’s work. Chamonix didn’t just commit to liberating her own inner artist but vowed to support every other creative that crossed her path to embody their most confident and authentic self because she knows with certainty that art has the power to transform the world through the energy that it holds.

Her mission is to elevate collective consciousness by using her voice and her artwork. Chamonix’s creative practice encompasses painting, drawing and textiles as well as the creation of resources and content to support the mindset, development and healing of creatives in all industries. She works with individuals and large organisations alike to bring strategic, meaningful artworks into their spaces and ignite purposeful creativity.
